Since completing their time with the Impact Innovation Hub (IIH), these student founders have transitioned from perfecting business models to achieving real-world milestones. Here is an update on the significant strides these entrepreneurs have made since the ideation stage.

Donielle Blount ’26 | EmpowerSafe

  • The Progress: Transitioned from a conceptual tool to a functional safety device providing real-time environmental risk data.
  • The Insight: “IIH helped me translate lived experiences into a scalable business model and secure early product validation.”

Dibora Tito ’26 | MedTech Innovation

  • The Progress: Refined hardware for a non-invasive bone density testing device, moving closer to clinical relevance for osteoporosis detection.
  • The Insight: “I’ve lifted the initial hesitation of pitching and significantly improved my confidence.”

Faris Dabaneh ’29 | Vocalis

  • The Progress: Developed the core technology for a vocal pattern analysis app designed to mitigate social anxiety.
  • The Insight: “Engaging with founders who are several levels ahead allowed me to refine my pitch and implement expert feedback.”

Parth Vaswani ’29 | SafeSpace

  • The Progress: Shifted from general health tech to a specialized data-driven platform for mental health clinicians.
  • The Insight: “It has been super helpful to get expert opinions on how to grow a business and partner with like-minded students.”

Greeva Yava ’29 | GreenPrompts

  • The Progress: Reached a major technical milestone; her Chrome extension for AI ecological awareness is nearly live.
  • The Insight: “IIH prepared me to speak with investors and take my innovation to the public market.”
