The energy of entrepreneurship filled Drexel University’s Innovation Alumni Week, a time for reflection and celebration. Among the many impressive attendees, Victoria Faith Miller stood out as a true embodiment of Drexel’s innovative spirit and commitment to impact.
Victoria’s exceptional academic achievements, demonstrated leadership, and active involvement in both university and community initiatives culminated in her being honored with the prestigious 2025 Outstanding Student Award. This award, granted to a single student each year, recognizes those who truly excel in these key areas, making Victoria a natural and well-deserved choice.
Having recently completed her BA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and now about to receive her MBA in Business Administration, Victoria continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be a social entrepreneur. “It is such an honor to have been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Outstanding Student Award, and I am deeply grateful to Professor Ozlem Ogutveren-Gonul for nominating me,” Victoria shared. “This spring, I will be graduating from Drexel’s full-time accelerated MBA program, and I’m excited to continue working on my startup, SEEd HER, which empowers young women in rural, developing communities through micro-crowdfunding services and business education.”
transcends national borders. Her participation in the HER Lab educational program in Kenya saw her actively involved in teaching entrepreneurship to local women and serving as a judge for their culminating business idea competition. This immersive experience ignited the vision for her own startup, SEEd HER. This promising venture is dedicated to equipping young women with the essential tools to establish sustainable businesses, complemented by educational resources designed to foster their success in the entrepreneurial realm.
Throughout her time at Drexel, Victoria has amassed a remarkable variety of achievements, further underscoring her commitment to impact. She served as a dedicated ambassador for The Pad Project, a vital initiative focused on providing essential menstrual products to women and girls globally. Demonstrating her leadership and expertise, Victoria also led a well-received master class at the previous Startup Fest titled “How to Start a Social Impact Business,” effectively guiding Drexel participants in transforming their passion for social issues into viable entrepreneurial ventures.
Currently, Victoria continues to drive positive change on a systemic level in her role as a Development and Communications Associate at TeachUNITED. This impactful nonprofit is committed to addressing educational inequality by partnering with schools and NGOs to empower teachers in underserved regions, equipping them with the skills necessary to significantly improve student outcomes. Victoria’s engagement with TeachUNITED serves as yet another compelling illustration of her unwavering dedication to creating a more equitable and just world.
As she prepares to graduate, Victoria’s future is brimming with opportunities. “I am incredibly excited about the opportunities ahead,” she said.
“The work I’m doing now—whether it’s with SEEd HER, iDE, or TeachUNITED—has reinforced my belief that entrepreneurship can be a powerful tool for social good. I remain immensely grateful to be a student and alumna of Drexel University, which has provided me with the foundation and resources to pursue my passion for social impact.”
On behalf of the entire Drexel community, we congratulate Victoria Faith Miller for her outstanding achievements and for earning the 2025 Outstanding Student Award. We look forward to watching you continue to inspire others and make a lasting impact in the world.
