Empowering The Next Generation Of Leaders Through Strategic Partnerships

The Close School of Entrepreneurship is committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment where students can develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed as entrepreneurs. A cornerstone of our approach is building strong partnerships with other academic departments to create unique and impactful learning opportunities.

Our collaboration with the Department of Communication through the COM 386 Public Relations Campaign Planning course is a prime example of this commitment. By merging the entrepreneurial spirit with strategic communication skills, students gain a competitive edge in today’s complex business landscape.

Under the expert guidance of Professor John Wilson and Professor Rosemary Rys, students work on real-world projects that challenge them to develop comprehensive public relations campaigns. This hands-on experience equips students with the ability to craft compelling narratives, build strong media relationships, and measure campaign effectiveness.

The impact of this collaboration is evident in the success stories of our students. For instance, Andrew DeLuca, founder of Raptor Robotics, leveraged the expertise of COM 386 students to elevate his startup’s profile and attract potential investors. This is just one example of how Close School students are benefiting from our strategic partnerships.

At the Close School of Entrepreneurship, we believe that a well-rounded education is essential for entrepreneurial success. That’s why we offer a wide range of resources and support services to help students turn their ideas into reality. From the Baiada Institute, Pitch Competitions, Entrepreneurship Advising and Mentoring Programs, and the Entrepreneurship Alumni Network, we provide students with the tools they need to thrive.

By fostering collaborations like the one with the Department of Communication, the Close School of Entrepreneurship is creating a thriving ecosystem where innovation and creativity flourish within Drexel. We are proud to be at the forefront of entrepreneurial education and look forward to continuing to empower the next generation of leaders.
