Drexel Innovation On Stage: Character And Trustworthiness At The 2026 Impact Summit

Drexel University will be well-represented at Temple University’s upcoming Impact Summit, which will feature discussions on ways to better bridge the gap between research and practice. Professors Barrie Litzky and Rob Morier are set to present, challenging traditional investment metrics by focusing on the “human element” of early-stage ventures.
Their presentation, Founders as a Good Bet: Virtue as Due Diligence in Entrepreneurial Trustworthiness, explores how early-stage ventures and first-time founders often face a significant “credibility gap” due to a lack of historical data and established track records. By attending, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how ethical judgment and character strengths influence stakeholder trust and investment decisions in uncertain markets.
